Ghana’s COVID-19 cases now 22,822

854 new coronavirus cases announced on Wednesday have increased Ghana’s case count to 22,822.

“A total of 854 new cases were reported on July 5,2020. These are samples that were taken from the period 16 June to 4 July 2020 as seen in Figure 8 but reported from the lab on July 5,” the Ghana Health Service said.

The death toll remains 129.

However, the recoveries have shot up to 17, 564, pushing the active cases to 5,129.
