Education Minister Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh has revealed that about 90 per cent of his staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
Dr Opoku Prempeh, who tested positive for the virus and was discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) recently, told Kwame Sefa Kayi on Accra-based Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show that assuming his staff were 50 in total, 45 of them have tested positive, too.
The majority of them, he said, are asymptomatic.
They have all self-isolated as well, he said.
Dr Opoku Prempeh said he has no clue where he picked the infection and urged Ghanaians to take all the safety protocols seriously, since the virus is real and wreaking havoc.
