Majority of Ghanaians have questioned producers, directors and actors of the Kumawood Movie Industry on reasons for it collapse.

Section of Ghanaians believe that the Industry has collapsed and may not revive again.

But Ike De Unpredictable is of a different view. speaking on Kumasi based Angel Fm 96.1 entertainment time on the Angel Drive show, he stated that: ‘Directors and producers of Kumawood movie Industry have failed to manage the ‘stars’, a reason for it recent predicaments’.

“Seriously the Industry needs strong and good structures to revive. Leadership of the industry should be able to manage the stars. The movie leaders and the actors have personal issues which is another cause of the industry downfall” Ike De Unpredictable said.

According to Ike De Unpredictable, Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) should have proper plan to help them revive the industry.

“The decision of the leadership to go digital is not the best solution to revive the industry. There should be at least a 10 year plan which will bring the industry on track. The leadership should also know how to manage the movie stars and settle their differences”.

According to Mawuli Ekpe Abro, measures have been put in place by the leadership to revive the Movie Industry.

“i admit production is slow, but Industry has not collapsed. We will surely bounce back because proper measures have been put in place by the leadership. We are going digital and , it will grow the industry and put Ghana in the limelight, not only in Ghana but across the continent” Abro said.
