Member of Parliament (MP) for Shai–Osudoku Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Linda Akweley Ocloo, has appealed to Ghanaians to stay home and stay safe to avoid contracting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.
The global pandemic has not spares Ghana as the country has so recorded 3,091 confirmed cases of the disease with 18 deaths and 303 recoveries.
In a message to the people in the Shai-Osudoku district in the Greater Accra Region, the MP on the ticket of the NDC launched a campaign to ignite the Ghanaian heritage in the wake of the global pandemic to follow the preventive protocols to stop the spread of the deadly virus.
The campaign, themed “Stay At Home, Save Lives’ and Stop the Spread”.
She further entreated her people in the locality to practice regular hand washing and apply the use of hand sanitizers as well as complying with social distancing amid the directive to help curb the spread of the novel pandemic.
The Law Maker also called on all and sundry to be cautious with the deadly Virus, warning that the “coronavirus is real”.
