Ghana’s case count for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease has moved from 1550 to 1671, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, Director General of GHS confirmed at a press briefing on the government’s response to the disease that 188 persons have so far recovered from the disease.
He further said that they are reports of five new confirmed deaths but GHS is investigating the cause of death before putting it out there.
“Ghana’s case count now at 1,671 with 1,461 are responding well to treatment with 188 recoveries…,” he said.
