The management of Accra Hearts Of Oak has refuted reports that the club have signed former Ghanaian international, Sulley Ali Muntari.
Reports in the media indicated that the ex-Liberty Professionals and Black Stars midfielder had joined the Phobians on a two-year contract to relaunch his career.
But the Rainbow club have come out strongly to deny the report.
“Hearts Of Oak want to notify the general sporting public that we have not signed Ghana International Sulley Muntari as it’s being reported by the media,” the club said on its official Twitter account.
It further noted that the former Inter Milan and AC Milan player is a friend of the club.
“Sulley is a great player and a friend of the club. We will continue to unveil the players we have signed.”
