The Manhyia Palace, seat of the Asantehene, who is the owner of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has set up a committee to investigate Asante Kotoko’s $180,000 debt owed North African side, Esperance.
World Footbal regulatory body, FIFA fined Kotoko for signing Emmanuel Clottey in 2015, when he still had a contract with the North African side.
Executives of the club have clashed several times in the media on this issue.
Manhyia however in a release said the exchanges in the media must end as it has decided to take over investigations into the debt.
