The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate in the Nhyiaeso constituency, Evangelist Richard Prah has charged Ghanaians not to disregard all protocols put in place by government and Health Experts in the fight against coronavirus.

The President, Nana Akufo-Addo on Sunday April 19, 2020 lifted the partial lockdown in some parts of the country which was necessitated by the spread of the novel virus.

The move by President Akufo-Addo made Ghana one of the first countries worldwide to ease restrictions on movement during the pandemic.

The NDC Nhyiaeso Parliamentary Candidate in an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo charged Ghanaians not take the virus for granted because restrictions on movement has been lifted.

“Coronavirus is real and deadly. The ban has been lifted but the virus is still with us. We should all follow protocols by washing our hands with soap under running and apply hand sanitizer always” Evangelist Richard Prah said.

According to him, ‘We’ll win the fight against COVID-19 if Ghanaians refrain from taking the virus for granted.

“Sometimes I feel sad when I hear people saying Covid-19 is not real because the ban has been lifted. Covid-19 is real. We should all support the fight and stop the spread”.
