The Nkawie-Toase town in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region was the next stop of the Dr Kwaku Oteng’s donation team.
The team led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Samuel K Acheampong stormed the community with boxes of Adonko Hand Sanitiser, other PPEs and bags of rice.
Speaking at the presentation of the items to the elders of the town and managers of the Nkawie-Toase Government Hospital, Mr Acheampong said the donation forms part of efforts by the Business guru to support the town to fight the COVID-19 disease.
The bags of rice, he said, is Dr Kwaku Oteng’s way of supporting the needy in the town during this period.
Nana Oteng Panin Agyemang, Toase Kontihene, who received the items on behalf of the Chief of the town thanked Dr Kwaku Oteng for the gesture.
“We are grateful for the donation and will donate all to charity as you have said…on behalf of our chief, we are very grateful to Dr Kwaku Oteng…,” he said.
At the Nkwaie-Toase Government Hospital, the in-charge who received the boxes of the Adonko Hand Sanitiser and other PPE thanked Dr Kwaku Oteng for coming to their aid as according to her, the hospital was spending a lot on acquiring hand sanitizer and other PPE.
“We are also very grateful for the gesture, we’ve spent a lot on hand sanitiser, there were times that we even struggle to buy some for the staff, so we are very grateful for that. And we also promise to ensure that the donated items are used for their intended purposes…,” she said.
