Nzema based Ghana Premier League outfit, Karela United have officially appointed Evans Adotey as head coach of the club, Angelfmonlinegh.com can exclusively confirm.
According to management of the relegation threatened team, Coach Adotey will be assisted by former Ghanaian International and New Edubiase United gaffer, Mallam Yahaya.
An official statement signed by Mr. Elloeny Amande, CEO of the ‘Pride and Passion’ club said:
“We are happy to announce the appointment of coaches Evans Adotey and Mallam Yahaya as Head coach and Assistant respectively for our dear club. We are excited about the experience that Adotey and his assistant will be bringing to the club…we wish them the very best of luck” the statement read.
Information gathered by this portal also indicates that the former Black Maidens coach and Medeama SC technical director who also doubles as the deputy coach of the National Men’s Under 20 team (Black Satellite) has signed a two-year deal with the NC Special Competition finalist.
Coach Evans Adotey after his appointment thanked management and board of the club for the opportunity given and called for collaboration from all stakeholders.
“I thank the board and management on my behalf and that of my assistant for the opportunity and also call on all stakeholders of the club to rally behind us so together we can turn the fortune of the club around” he stressed.
Karela United before the league was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic occupied the 17th position on the league log.
