The Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheik Abdul Mumin Harun, has blessed the President of Angel Group of Companies, Dr Kwaku Oteng and has commended him for his soft heart towards the poor and vulnerable in society.
Sheik Abdul Mumin Harun heaped praises on Dr. Kwaku Oteng when the business mogul’s COVID-19 donation team presented several bags of rice and bottles of Adonko Original Hand Sanitizer to Islamic Communities in the Ashanti Region through the Regional Islamic leader.
Leader of the Dr. Kwaku Oteng’s COVID-19 Donation Team who doubles as CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network, Mr. S.K Acheampong, presenting the items indicated that as the world battles with the novel coronavirus, countries around the globe have suffered serious economic difficulties since the nations have resorted to lockdown as one of the major measures to stop the spread of the virus, causing the poor and vulnerable in society to starve.
He explained that Dr. Kwaku Oteng, after realizing the untold hardship most economically weak Ghanaians, especially those in the lockdown areas, are going through, has released GHc800,000 to produce over 20,000 bottles of Adonko Original Hand Sanitizer, purchase food items and other PPEs for some groups and institutions in the Ashanti Region.

Afrancho Hospital, Devine Net Clinic at Kronom, Suntreso Government Hospital, Mamponteng Government Hospital, Kumasi South Hospital, Aboaso Hospital, Kumasi Children’s Home, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kayayes in Kumasi, Kumasi Central Prisons, Manhyia Palace, Ash Regional Directorate of NCCE and Kumasi Center for Collaborative Research (KCCR), Nkawie Government Hospital.
Aside this list which has been catered for by the GHc 800, 000 in the Ashanti Region, the Flagstaff House and Health institutions such as Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, 37 Military Hospital, Tema Harbour Hospital, Tema General Hospital etc. in the Greater Accra region have also received thousands of Bottles Adonko Original Hand Sanitizer and other PPEs from Dr. Kwaku Oteng.
Mr. S.K Acheampong intimated that Dr. Kwaku Oteng has committed his whole life and wealth to giving hope to the hopeless in the society and making them feel they are also creatures of God.
In his words of appreciation, the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheik Abdul Mumin Harun praised Dr. Kwaku Oteng for caring for the weak and though a Christian, extending his goodness to Muslims.
