The Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service Dr Badu Sarkodie has urged Ghanaians to obey the lock down directives of the President so as to reduce a further spread of the Coronavirus disease or face prolong and stricter lock down directives in the coming days.
Speaking during the continuation of the disinfection exercise organised by LCB Worldwide Crisis Management Solutions at the Ministries and some public institutions and buildings, Dr Badu Sarkodie explained that not adhering to the lock down protocols by the President will result to the further spread of the virus thereby make the president extend the lockdown period and also take more stricter measures to curb the disease.
Dr Badu Sarkodie commended the LCB Worldwide Crisis Management Solutions for coming out to disinfect all public and government institutions and urged other institutions with the capacity to also assist government in the fight against the disease.
The Chief Executive Officer of LCB Worldwide Crisis Management Solutions, Mr Karim Abu said the exercise forms part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as an institution that carries out their services in the country.
He added that, the chemicals for the disinfection is solely organic and will kill all bacteria, viruses and pathogens within the disinfected area that cannot be seen and in no way harmful to man.
