COVID-19: Ghana is winning the fight – Deputy Health Minister


A Deputy Minister of Health, Tina Naa Ayeley Mensah has said government is winning the first to eradicate Covid 19 from Ghana.

In an exclusive interview with Odehye Kwaku Asiedu of Angel FM on the sidelines of food distribution to her constituents, she mentioned that, the Health Ministry has intensified its efforts to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease in the country.

According Deputy Minister who is also the MP for Weija Gbawe constituency in the Greater Accra region, the battle against COVID-19 is yielding positive results.

She explained that she is confident the country will come out of the battle victorious in record time looking at the measures laid down by the Government and its stakeholders to fight the pandemic.

The Deputy Health Minister further asked Ghanaians to observe the health guidelines given by the WHO to end the epidemic.

She again urged all Ghanaians to stay home if they have nothing significant doing in town during this lock down period.
