Dr Bernard Oko-Boye, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ledzokuku Constituency in the Greater Accra Region has been appointed the Deputy Minister of Health Designate by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
His appointment was communicated in a statement to the media which was signed by the Communication Director at the presidency, Eugene Arhin.
The Legislator is going to the Ministry to replace Alexander Abban who has been reshuffled to the Communication Ministry as Deputy to Ursula Owusu.
The substantive Deputy Minister of Information, Vincent Sowah Odotei has had his appointment revoked by the President.
Dr Oko-Boye will be vetted by Parliament in the coming days.
