COVID-19: Mahama donates PPEs to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital


Former President, John Dramani Mahama, has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and pairs of Gum Boots to health workers at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to support their work towards managing the COVID-19 disease.

The former President presented a total of 100 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and 100 pairs of Gum Boots to the health workers.

This adds to the about 300,000 worth of PPEs and other materials that the former President donated to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital and other hospitals in the country.

Prosper Bani who is the Chairman of the NDC’s COVID-19 Response Team while presenting the items to the Hospital’s Management on behalf of the 2020 Flagbearer of the NDC thanked the health workers for their dedication to duty.

He asked government to work to ensure that the needs of the health workers are always attended to on time.

The CEO of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr Daniel Asare after receiving the items thanked the NDC and it’s flagbearer for the gesture.

Members of the NDC COVID-19 response team were part of the delegation that presented the items.
