Our Hospital is OPENED to all COVID-19 Patients – Bank of Ghana

The Bank of Ghana has rejected the earlier statements by the Health Minister that the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu that the management of the Bank of Ghana has only agreed to use their facility for the treatment of VIP persons suffering from the Coronavirus disease and staff of the Bank.

Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu during an encounter with the press in Accra had claimed that the management of the Bank of Ghana had informed him that there were just going to open two floors of the Hospital for use.

“I kept on telling people that the Ministry of Health does not have direct jurisdiction over the Bank of Ghana hospital. We have had engagements with the Bank of Ghana and they have released two floors [of BoG hospital] to take care of 20 beds for our use. Because the facility does not belong to the Ministry of Health, Bank of Ghana has agreed that their own people and some VIP personnel will be allowed there,” he said.

But the BoG management in a release has claimed that they have opened their hospital to members of the public.

Below is the release from the Bank of Ghana.
