A former player of the Black Stars, Kwasi Owusu, has died, according to information available.
According to Abcnewsgh.com which first reported the story, the former player died on Sunday, 29th March, 2020.
He’s said to have died of natural causes.
Kwasi Owusu led the Ghana national team for several years between 1960 and 1970.
He represented Ghana at two Africa Cup of Nations tournament, attending one Olympics Games tournament in 1972 and held the record of all-time top goalscorer for Ghana scoring 36 goals until 2013 when Asamoah Gyan surpassed that record.
