Ghana has now confirmed 52 cases of the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.
Health Minister, Agyamang Manu confirmed the increase in the case at a press conference organised by the Ministry of Information on Tuesday.
According to him, the new 25 cases were from the people who have been put in mandatory quarantine upon return from abroad.
“185 test results have been received. We have 25 of those quarantined tested positive. This means we have 52 tested positive at the moment…,” he said.
So far, a total of 3,030 persons have been quarantined and their samples are still been taken.
