Coronavirus: ABN’s Pure FM leads the way; up precautionary measures to contain virus spread


The Chief Operations Officer and Business Development Manager of Pure FM, a subsidiary of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN GHANA), Kwame Adinkrah as part of measures to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus has provided logistics to be placed at all vantage points in the offices.

Staff have been provided with logistics and hand sanitizers to keep them protected; while security personnel have been instructed to periodically wipe door handles with disinfectants.

Mr. Adinkrah on ‘Pure Morning Drive’ this morning indicated: “Before work commences, Our listeners and staff are educated on the viral infection to keep them updated. We have sent private messages to everyone we do business with, and provided similar information online to educate them on the pandemic and the precautionary measures to ensure.”

“Precautionary notices have been posted at vantage points of entry and inside the offices to aid staff enlighten themselves about the Covid-19 pandemic,” he added.

He advised Ghanaians to stay calm and follow government’s directive to reduce the spread ‘and as much as possible to keep social distance, while avoiding overcrowding areas.’

In the wake of recently recorded cases of the novel Coronavirus in the country, government and health experts have outlined a number of precautionary measures to be observed by citizens to contain the pandemic.

These precautions include regular washing of hands or the use of hand sanitizers, covering the mouth or nose when coughing or sneezing, avoiding handshakes and crowded places, among others.
