President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed his condolences the families of the over 20 persons who were burnt to death in the early hours of Monday, March 9, on the Kintampo-Tamale road.
The commander-in-chief of the republic took to his official twitter handle to extend his heart felt sympathy to all families of the Monday’s accident.
In a tweet on the incident on Tuesday, the President said:
“My sympathies and condolences go to all the families and loved ones of the deceased in Monday’s horrific accident on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway. May their souls Rest In Peace”
“I also wish the injured a speedy recovery” he tweeted.
More than 20 persons were burnt to death following an accident involving a Yutong Bus and sprinter bus at a spot near Kintampo on the Tamale Road in the early hours of Monday, 9th March, 2020.
Five persons were rescued by the fire service team before the two buses caught fire.
