Sports Associations in Rwanda have been told that the country has suspended all plans to participate in international games to be played outside of Rwanda.
The decision is part of efforts by the country to prevent the possible spread of Coronavirus epidemic to that country.
One of the conclusions reached in a meeting held on Tuesday is urging all organizations to stop all sports activities planned to take place outside of Rwanda, especially in countries that have been affected by the disease.
The Ministry of Sports has called on the organizations to immediately contact those concerned at African or global level to avoid sanctions.
This means that Rwanda won’t be travelling to Cape Verde for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications and also the 2020 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in Cameroon.
