The Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Hon. Sara Adwoa Sarfo has paid a day’s working visit to her constituency to inspect ongoing developmental projects in her constituency.
Adwoa Sarfo was accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ga East Municipal Assembly, Janet Tulasi Mensah, Assembly Engineer, Mr Foster Aboagye and party executives at the constituency.
Projects she inspected include bridge, roads, storm drains, gutters and several others.
The inspection started from the Atomic Junction, Taifa Mr. Adjei (Kaiza valley), Dome Crossing, Agbogba, Termaa, Ablor Adjei and its environs.
Addressing the media after the inspection, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo said that, the ongoing projects are part of government’s initiatives to make sure the people in the constituency will benefit from the developmental projects going on in her constituency.
According to her, the storm drains when completed will help reduce the number of floods in the constituency during and after the rainy season.
The Municipal Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ga East Municipal Assembly, Jane Tulasi Mensah on her part added that most residents in the constituency experience flooding during the raining season.
He was of the strongest conviction that the ongoing projects when completed will control most of the flooding in the municipality.
She urged the residents leaving close to the water log areas to always help the Ga East Municipality to avoid flooding in the municipality.
