The National Chapters Committee of Hearts of Oak has expressed profound gratitude to the club’s fans for offering massive support to the team in last Sundays titanic clash against arch rivals, Asante Kotoko.
The Phobians were beaten at their own backyard by their bitter rivals 2-1.
The leadership of the Rainbow family has appreciated the overwhelming support and atmosphere behind the team despite defeat.
“The national chapters committee express its profound gratitude to all phobians who made it to the Accra sports stadium on Sunday, 26th January 2020 to support our darling club, Accra Hearts of Oak in our league match against our bitter rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko,” a statement signed by the club NCC PRO, Jones Asante Mfodwo read.
“Though it was a painful defeat, our players did not disappoint us. We reacted with civility and matured understanding of the game when a penalty was awarded against us in the dying embers of game”
