‘I’ll make education my priority’ – Dompem Pepesahene

The newly enstooled chief of Dompen Pepesa in the Dompem Traditional Area of the Western Region, Nana Nyowah Panyin IV has assured that he is going to make the education of indigenes of the Traditional Area his priority.

Nana Nyowah Panyin IV in an interview with the media said he will ensure that the people of the traditional area take education seriously during his tenure as the chief of Dompen Pepesa.

Nana Panyin IV made the promise after the Western Regional House of chiefs ruled that the Nyonwa family, one of the ruling families in the area was the rightful heir to the stool of Dompem Pepesa.

He further assured that he will ensure that all children of school going age takes advantage of the government’s flagship Free SHS policy.

The newly enstooled chief also promised to ensure the execution of various social projects to help uplift the standard of living of the people.

He also called on both factions in the case to seize fire and help in the reconciliation process he has started so as to help develop Dompem Pepesa.

The chief also indicated his willingness to consult the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Mireku Duker so the two can collaborate to develop the area.
