The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has secured a 5-year Television Broadcast deal with Chinese Television powerhouse StarTimes to become the official right owner of the Ghana Premier League.
StarTimes who will also broadcast other FA’s product beat competition from Fox TV, ESPN, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and others.
The 5-year telecasting mandate given to StarTimes is expected to see them cover the Ghana FA Cup, the Women’s Elite league, and produce contents for the Ghana FA on their online portals.
According to a communiqué of the FA, the deal will be officially announced on Friday January 10, 2020 in a press conference.
