ABN granted rights to cover Ghana Premier League

Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) and six other networks have acquired the radio broadcasting rights for the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) gave the right to only seven media houses for the radio coverage of the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight league.

According to reports, the state-owned Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) are the only State owned media firm which can telecast the ongoing Ghana premier league.

Six renowned private media companies have also been given the permission to broadcast the football season.

The private firms include Angel Broadcasting Network, Multimedia Group, Despite Group of Companies, Unique Kingdom Group, Global Alliance Media and Kessben media Group.

The GFA has firmly stated that, it will soon issue statement on the above mentioned authorized media houses for radio commentaries on the Ghana Premier League in the coming hours.

The FA has therefore stated that any unauthorized radio and Television stations that air the ongoing Ghana Premier League shall face the necessary legal consequences.
