Meet the 16-year-old Asante Kotoko ‘Messi Messi’ who’s expected to take the Ghana League by storm


    Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko has signed a 16-year-old wonderkid kid, Matthew Anim Cudjoe.

    Anim Cudjoe, popularly called Messi Messi has become the hottest teenage footballer in the country now after showcasing his prowess and talent at the Babe Jet U-16 tournament organized by Black Stars legend, Asamoah Gyan.

    Having emerged as the star of the tournament, the young attacker managed to joined the Porcupine Warriors after returning from trials at Italian side, Bologna.

    According to our sources, the skillful attacker had multiple training sessions with the Kumasi based club before finally offering him a contract.

    The teenager who has been tagged as the next star in Ghana football after his discovery in Gyan’s U-16 tournament is expected to attract supporters to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium when the season gets underway.

    Ahead of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season set to start next week, Matthew Anim Cudjoe will have to impress Kotoko head coach, Maxwell Konadu if he’s to become the new discovery of the long awaited league when the campaign finally kicks off.
