Former Black Queens Skipper, Adwoa Bayor has revealed that she broke her virginity at the age of 32.
Speaking in an interview with Delay on the ‘Delay Show’, Adwoa Bayor stated that she sees that to be normal arguing that she had personal reasons for doing so.
When asked whether she would have been active than she is now if she had broken her virginity earlier as presumed, she said: “No!! that wouldn’t be the case because breaking my virginity now is the same as breaking it earlier and to me, there’s no difference”.
The footballer who led the Queens to their first FIFA women’s world cup in United States in 1999 added that she has no regrets on that.
“We do not rush in marriage. You have to take your time and that is something my mum told me,” she said.
The 2003 African Women’s player of the year capped 33 times for the senior women’s national team, Black Queens before retiring from the senior side.
