Karela United coach, Prosper Nartey has resigned from his post as the head coach of the first team.
Nartey was appointed two months ago to replace Johnson Smith.
The former Ebusua Dwarfs man was appointed to replace Johnson Smith but has quitted after the club dragged its feet in granting him a contract.
Reports indicate that the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Lecturer has vacated from his residence in Ayinase due to some disagreements with some executives of the club.
It is not clear as to what the disagreement is about but reports that reached angelfmonlinegh.com indicated that the failure of management to replace some senior players who left the team is the immediate cause of his decision to resign from the team.
The Nzema club has lost key players including Ismail Abdul Ganiu, Maxwell Baakoh, Empem Dacosta and Patrick Yeboah, with Imoro Ibrahim and Isaac Kwain set to join the exodus.
Karela will have to replace Nartey in the coming days as the Ghana Premier League is set to begin later this month.
