Head Coach of Black Stars B, Maxwell Konadu has been appointed the new head coach for premier league outfit, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The 47-year-old tactician has signed a two-year contract with the Kumasi based club to take over the club which was managed by Zachariassen.
According to information available to Angelfmonlinegh.com, Maxwell Konadu has been given a target of winning a league in his first season as well as qualifying the team for continental football.
Konadu’s reunion with the porcupines is his second spell with the former Premier League champions.
The man nicknamed, ‘Magic Header’ guided the Fabulous boys to their 22nd league title in 2012 before resigning to head the Black Satellites and subsequently appointed assistant coach of the Black Stars in 2013.
The former Wa All Stars Master tactician takes over the mantle from interim cum assistant coach, Johnson Smith before the new Ghana Premier League season gets under way on December 28th.
