Actress, Lydia Forson, is the latest celebrity to join the campaign to cause telecommunication companies in the country to reduce the cost of data in the country.
The campaign dubbed #SaveOurData was commenced on social media by the head of sports at Angel 102.9FM, Saddick Adams, popularly known as Sports Obama as part of efforts to protest high data cost in the country.
The campaign has attracted the attention of various industry players and several Ghanaians on social media with many urging the Sports Presenter to keep ‘fighting on’.
Telecommunication giant, MTN, responded to the campaign through a release which called on their customers to bear with them as according to them they were experiencing challenges with their network.
The excuses notwithstanding, some customers have tweeted about their intention to port their numbers to other networks.
The latest to join this campaign is actress, Lydia Forson who has indicated that he data has been running out quicker than expected.
