Kumasi Asante Kotoko ahead of the upcoming 2019/20 Ghana Premier League Season, thumped lower tier side, Sampdoria FC 6:0 in a warm up friendly at the Adako Jachie training park over the weekend.
Interim Coach, Johnson Smith’s side had no mercy for the lower division side as Emmanuel Gyamfi’s magical hatrick helped the Porcupines overcome the Sampdorian boys.
There were few chances in the first half of the game but Kotoko managed to score two goals in the first half through Daniel Barnieh and Songne Yacouba in the 17th and 37th minutes respectively.
Emmanuel Gyamfi stole the show with a hatrick in fourteen minutes during the second half before Richard Arthur added another in the stoppage time.
Kotoko will continue their pre-season as they travel to the Robert Mensah Stadium to face Ebusua Dwarfs on December 6 before heading to Daboase in the Western Region to play Division One outfit, Skyy FC on December 8, 2019.
