No more ‘coffee break’, Ghanaians will now go for ‘Eku break’ during meetings – C/R Minister


The Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan has said that Ghanaians will soon abandon consumption of coffee at national events and begin going for Eku Juice produced from the Ekumfi Fruits and Juices Factory.

The Minister said this while reacting to news that the much awaited fruit juice from the first factory that was commissioned for construction under the government’s flagship policy, 1 District, 1 Factory is set to hit the market soon.

Managers of the factory have since the completion of the test run come public with art works of the fruit juice with promise that its first commercial production will commence soon.

Commenting on this on Peace FM’s Morning Show, Kokrokoo on Wednesday as monitored by, the Central Regional Minister said he was sure Ghanaians will start consuming the Ekumfi Juice instead of coffee.

“In fact, no more coffee breaks, we’ll start going for Eku breaks…,” he said.
