Accra Great Olympics have confirmed that they have adopted the El Wak Sports stadium as their home grounds ahead of the 2019/20 Premier League campaign.
The ‘wonder club’ was reinstated into the Ghana Premier League at the GFA’s extraordinary congress in 2019.
Olympics and Hearts of Oak have over the years used the Accra Sports Stadium as their home grounds but management have announced that they have adopted the stadium manned by the military as their new home grounds.
Olympics decided to adopt the El Wak Sports Stadium after fellow premier league side, Inter Allies which used to use the venue for their home matches confirmed the Tema Sports Stadium as the new ground for their home matches in the upcoming 2019/20 season.
The ‘Nkonsonkonson’ boys in quest to excel in the newly constituted 18 club league has on their table the signature of some top premier league experience folks like ex-Brekum Chelsea hitman, Emmanuel Clottey and Former Asante Kotoko duo, Michael Akuffo and Jordan Opoku.
The two time premier league champions [1970 and 1974] who have failed to leave a mark in the Ghanaian topflight in the 21st century are set to impress in the upcoming season.
