Rigworld Solutions, a newly established wing of the Rigworld Group Company, has expressed its readiness to serve the extractive sector and its related industries with high quality Ghanaian-made bolts and nuts and hydraulic hoses.
The company, which was established barely five months ago, has already started supplying its products to some players in the petroleum sector.
The Factory Manager of Rigworld Solutions, Mr. Nicholas Amenyo, who briefed journalists on Friday in Kejebir about the significant role the company would be playing, underscored the importance of bolts, nuts and hoses in the extractive sector.
He stated that the production of these products locally by Rigworld Solutions would boost local content in the extractive sector.
“It will also improve the productivity of companies who purchase the products through efficiency and ensure that they use less time for procurement,” he said.
He further explained that the factory has a 60-tonne rolling machine, a band sawing machine, and a stud master machine, adding that, the factory also does a PTFE Coating (Polytetrafluoraethylene) for the bolts and nuts.
On its low and high pressure hydraulic hoses, he said, a robust system is in place to ensure they are produced at a high standard.
According to him, the production of these high quality products would improve Ghanaian participation in the mining, petroleum and railways sectors.
He, therefore, urged the Petroleum Commission (PC) which is mandated to implement the local content policy, to assist Rigworld Solutions by all legitimate means to ensure that the company remained competitive on the market.
He also called on players in the extractive sector to rely on Rigworld Solutions for their bolts and nuts and hydraulic hoses since the company’s products were of high quality and cheaper than its competitors.
