Kumasi Asante Kotoko player, Jordan Opoku, has said that two management members of the Kumasi-based club who have surrounded the Executive Chairman, Dr Kwame Kyei are the main people sabotaging the progress of the club.

According to the midfield maestro popularly known as ‘River Jordan’, the Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko has surrounded himself with naysayers like Nana Kwame Dankwa and Mr Edmund Ackah who are the main people hampering the club’s progress.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Michael Darko known as Don Summer on Kumasi- based Angel FM’s First Half Sports Show, the former Feyenoord Academy product said:

“Nana Kwame Dankwa and Mr Edmund Ackah are the main cause of problems in Asante Kotoko. Dr Kwame Kyei’s problems at Kotoko is a result of those working for him”.

He further pleaded with the management of the club to assist Dr Kyei to achieve success in his tenure to see the club back to it’s glorious days.

“Dr Kyei is giving out cash to transform and improve the team but his management members are also seeking for his failure”, Opoku stressed.

The former Brekum Chelsea, Royal Antwerp, and Dinamo Tarano player who has been told to leave the club after expiration of his contract has labelled Nana Kwame Dankwa and Mr Edmund Ackah as the ones destroying Kotoko as they want him out of the Kumasi-based club in a manner of hatred.
