The Deputy National Organiser of the main opposition party, Chief Biney Hamilton, has congratulated the President, Nana Akufo-Addo for fulfilling his campaign promise of establishing a Fruit and Juices factory in Ekumfi in the Central Region.
The NDC Organiser who was speaking on Angel 102.9FM’s Accountable to the People on Wednesday said the government deserves credit for ensuring that the factory which he cut sod for in August 2017 will soon commence commercial production.
“We congratulate you for making this factory a reality…we do not have enough jobs in Ekumfi, so all I can say in Ayekoo to the guys and the government…,” he said.
Chief Biney who had been a chief advocate for the factory which was earmarked to be the first factory to be built under the government’s flagship policy, 1 District, 1 Factory said this while reacting to news of the commencement of production by the factory.
The factory’s Director of Operations, Fredrick Kobbynna Acquahh who was at Angel 102.9FM for his first ever in-studio interview assured him that the factory would offer the best of fruit juices to Ghanaians.
He further said that Eku Juice which is currently at its final stage of testing will be one of the best products that will come from this country.
Chief Biney on the hand said he was proud of being an Ambassador for the factory since the cutting of sod by the President.
