The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has taken a jab at the main opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) for being a ‘vocal opposition’.
Ken Ofori-Atta while presenting the 2020 Budget and Economic Policy in Parliament on Wednesday said the government indeed appreciates the opposition form the opposition party.
The NDC since losing the 2016 elections have always put the government on its toes through numerous press conferences.
Their press conferences have almost always set the news agenda in the country.
And this, the Finance Minister said is well appreciated.
“Our friends from the other side of the house have proven to be a very vocal opposition and we are grateful for their support and opposition since we took over office,” he said.
