Former President, John Dramani Mahama has said he has accepted the unqualified apology rendered by Multimedia Group Limited to him.

One of the presenters at the media conglomerate, Nana Akua Acheampongmaa while presenting Asempa FM’s Kanawu programme descended on the former first gentleman of the land for weeding in front of a cemetery in Accra.

Communicators and sympathisers of the NDC party have for the past two days taken the presenter on for ‘daring’ the NDC 2020 Flagbearer.

“Nana Akua while presenting one of our shows, dubbed ‘Kanawu’ used words that were unpleasant to your person.

“As a result, the management of the station wishes to unreservedly apologise to you on its own behalf and on behalf of the presenter, Nana Akua Acheampong Sarfo-Adu.”

The station further promised to take appropriate steps to ensure it does not occur again.

Commenting on the apology on his Facebook wall, the former President wrote “Accepted”.
