Ashantigold and Black Stars Team B skipper, Shafiu Mumuni says hard work and determination led to his call up into the senior national team, Black Stars.
Coach Akwesi Appiah named his 23-man squad ahead of their Africa of Nation Cup qualifier campaign against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe on 14and 18th November, 2019 respectively.
According to Black Stars team captain, every player will progress in the world of football when they are able play with free mind.
“I believe playing for the national team is a dream come true for every player, so it a great feel for my invite and looking forward to give my all for the team,” he said.
Speaking in an interview on Fox FM, he said, though the attackers in the squad are very experienced players but everything is possible and he believe that, he can make it into the final 18-man squad.
“Trust me, if am given the chance I will deliver and prove myself.
“And I just have to thank everyone who has helped me so far as my call is concern,” he asserted.
