The Northern Business District Branch of Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) Ghana has donated food supplement, food items, detergent and unknown amount of cash in support of triplets who lost their mother during birth.

The deceased, Ms Linda Dankwa, who already had five children including a set of twins before the triplets, sadly lost her life in April 2019 after giving birth to the triplets – two boys and a girl – through a Cesarean Section [means of surgery to delivery babies].

The donations was done over the weekend in Kumasi by the acting General Manager of Northern business district.

Mr Simon Amoh revealed that the company was touched by the pledge of the children when it heard about the incident.

“It is our social responsibility as a company to come to the aid of individuals like such children who’s in need and not only institutions.

“We hope the items would help the family to meet the requirements of the children and help provide them with good health care,” Mr Amoh said.

The mother of the deceased, Ms Akosua Twumwaah who has had to care for her grandchildren thereafter, expressed her gratitude to the company for coming to their aid.
