Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson has pleaded with Ghanaians to exercise patience with newly-elected Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Mr Edwin Simon Kurt Okraku as he aspires to reform Ghana football.
Mr. Okraku was elected President of the GFA after pinning down closest compatriot, George Afriyie.
Mr Nelson called on Ghanaians to be patient with the newly elected president as it will take time to get the association to work again.
“We should be patient with the President, because it will take time before everything will take off.
“Kurt has the ability, if you check his CV you will know he knows Ghana football,” he added.
Frank Nelson then labelled Mr Okraku as the best man for the job and asked for support from the football fraternity and the nation at large.
Kurt, a former Chairman of the MTN FA cup, aims at changing the face of the game as his motto goes ‘#Gamechanger#.
