Owner and Bank roller of Kumasi-based club, King Faisal babies, Alhaji Abdul Karim Grunsah has declared his willingness to sell the club due to financial constraints.
Alhaji Grunsah has officially made it known publicly with a call and plea to interested persons to take over the mantle since he is currently struggling to salaries and match winning bonuses.
“We are considering relocating the club from Kumasi. We can’t continue to play in Kumasi whiles we gross GHC 6.00 from our gates proceedings during our games.
“I was born and bred in Kumasi but the people of Kumasi has neglected King Faisal even in our prime days.
“I’m ready to release King Faisal outright to any investor but my only plea to any potential buyer will be that the person shouldn’t rename the club just to honour me.
He however pleaded with the potential investor to rename the club.
I’m appealing to anyone who’ll come on board that regardless my intention of selling the club, I still want to be part of the club as far as I’m alive” Alhaji Grunsa pleaded.
King Faisal babies, although has been reinstated alongside Accra Great Olympics in Ghana’s top flight league following an 18 club league system for the 2019/20 premier league season at the GFA extraordinary Congress on Friday October 25th.
