We’ll repatriate our tortured brother – Nigerian Community

The Nigerian Community in Kumasi, Young Shall Grow Association, has pledged to help repatriate the 26-year-old Nigerian, Paul Tombowa, who was tortured by his employee at Agric-Kokode in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

Angelfmonlinegh.com reported how a 31-year-old Nigerian employee, Mayor Harvard butchered his Nigerian employee for misusing GHC20 credit.

The victim was caged in a dog crate for continuous days without being supplied with food and water.

Osei Kwadwo Ambassador of Pure FM reported that upon being released to go and fetch water from a nearby house, Tombowa reported his plight to locals who caused the arrest of his employer.

The victim told our reporter that he prefers travelling back to Nigeria if he fails to gain meaningful employment in Ghana.

Authorities of the Nigerian Community Young Shall Grow Association who spoke to the victim pledged that the association will bare the cost of the victim’s trip to Nigeria.

“Seriously, I want to go back to Nigeria but I don’t want to go back to Nigeria with empty hands. If I get a place to stay and get a work to do I will stay. I don’t want to go back to that house again,” he said.

A Police officer at Suntreso Police Command, Inspector Mensah yesterday sent the victim to Suntreso government hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, Mr. Harvard is currently in Suntreso Police custody and its expected to appear before court.
