RTP Awards: Angel FM’s Rev Johnson Adu Boahene tops all radio gospel hosts in Ghana


Angel 102.9 FM afternoon gospel programme, ‘Ogyie Mmere’ host, Rev Johnson Adu Boahene topped all other radio gospel programme host in the country at the 2019 Radio and Television Programme (RTP).

Rev Adu Boahene has become a household name following the introduction of ‘Ogyie Mmmere’ on the fast growing Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) subsidiary some few months ago.

The show has provided avenue for Christians and non-Christians alike to worship and offer prayers to their maker during the afternoon of each weekday.

And the evidence of the superiority of the show in the capital was manifested at the 7th RTP Awards when Reverend Johnson Adu Boahene, his team and all some staff of the ABN, the fastest media conglomerate in the country soared above all others to receive the coveted award.

“Rev Johnson Adu Boahene of Angel 102.9fm is the Radio Gospel Show Host Of The Year 2018-2019,” it was proudly announced at the event which witnessed the ABN Ghana bag home six awards.

‘Ogyie Mmere’ airs on Angel 102.9 fm every weekday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
