GFA elections: ‘I’ll fight my disqualification with the last drop of my blood’ – Palmer

The Campaign manager of embattled Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential hopeful, Mr Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer has emphatically stated that his client will not accept the verdict of the Normalisation Committee’s vetting committee and therefore will fight it ‘tooth and nail’.

The Tema Youth president’s hope of ascending the throne as the next GFA president has been dashed after failing to meet the integrity test as released by the Vetting Committee of the Normalisation Committee on Friday October 4, 2019; of which his camp have decided to contest the result.

Speaking on the Floodlights Show on Angel 102.9FM Accra, Mr JF Mensah, revealed that his team will respond to the verdict in the right time.

“We will do everything within our means to ensure that we’re vindicated in this matter.

“I can assure you we will never ever accept it. We will fight this with all the energy in us until we succeed,” he revealed.

Responding to whether his candidate suspects witch hunting, Mr Mensah claimed it could be possible but he is yet to probe the issue further.

“I cannot talk about witch hunt because I don’t have any evidence to that effect,” he said.

Mr Osei Kwaku Palmer in a press release advised his fans and loved once to stay calm and that his camp would do everything possible to clear his name and possibly contest the position.
