Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-1 defeat to Nigerien side, Sahel SC in an International friendly played at Pobiman training complex on Friday morning.
The visitors took the lead in the first half following a brilliant finish from Ghanaian international, Bright Korley, on the 25th minute.
The Phobians pulled parity just three minutes into the second department of the game, with a fine strike from Kojo Obeng Jnr.
Hearts of Oak enjoyed the lion share of possession but could not find the winner .
The yellow and green boys from Niger restored their lead following a superb free kick from Moucthar Yacouba on the 76th minute mark.
Heart coach, Kim Grant made some changes in his team with Emmanuel Mintah, Kofi Kordzi and Aminu Alhassan been replaced by Anthony Quayson, Enock Adds and Samuel McCarthy.
The changes notwithstanding, the Phobians couldn’t pull parity.
Sahel SC are in Ghana to have their pre-season while Hearts of Oak is preparing for the upcoming Ghana football season.
