The head of communication at Ghana Gas, Ernest Owusu Bempah has suggested to security agencies that the former President, John Dramani Mahama must be picked up for questioning over the alleged coup plot.
According to the vociferous communicator, the ex- President is behind the coup plotters and knows something about it and hence ought to be questioned.
He claimed the former President orchestrated the coup as a means of taking over the country as he knows very well that he will lose the 2020 elections.
“What shows NDC and Mahama know nothing about this coup? Look at NDC’s communicators and the things they say about the coup d’état and the line of communication shows they are defending it, to the extent that NDC lawyers have been called to defend those coup plotters. It’s a planned thing, if it were to happen in a different country, Mahama would have been picked up. Dr. Mac-Palm is one of the key people within the NDC so we don’t need a soothsayer to tell you that these people are behind it. The agenda is bringing us to this attention that, 2020 Mahama knows he’s not going to win the elections,” he revealed.
To Owusu Bempah, allowing John Mahama to go walk free would not help investigations into the coup plot.
