NDC ‘hires’ Togolese to demonstrate against Akufo-Addo in New York?

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been accused of hiring Togolese nationals to demonstrate against President Akufo-Addo in the United States of America (USA).

The demonstrators, who were positioned in front of the United Nations (UN) building in New York carried placards that spoke against the ‘ills’ in the Akufo-Addo government.

The inscriptions on some of the placards read: “Flagstaff House Menzgold fraudsters’’ ‘’Ghana is not for sale to the Chinese’’ ‘’Bring back the Tadi girls’’ and a host of others to illustrate the socio-politico situation in Ghana.

Interestingly, the demonstrators wore T-Shirts that had the flags of Togo; a situation which has ledmany on social media to ridicule the main opposition party.

Nana Akufo-Addo is in New York to attend the General Assembly which opened on Tuesday, September 24 is being held on the theme, “Galvanizing Multilateral Efforts For Poverty Eradication, Quality Education, Climate Action And Inclusion.”
