Aspiring Chairman for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Berekum West in the Bono Region, Mr. Osei Yaw has warned Kumawood Film Directors to depicting PWDs as witches and people who are cursed.

The former Financial Secretary for PWDs at the Berekum Municipal stressed that the constant use of PWDs to play witchcraft roles in movies has led to many in society to see them as source of bad luck and misfortunes.

This, he said is preventing several people from patronising wares sold by PWDs.

In an interview with Angel News, Mr Osei advised the general public to desist from such act.

“Being disabled does not mean that you are under a curse and people with such mentality must change their mindset as it can happen to everyone,” he appealed.
